Aerial Exhibition to Feature Lincoln Standard Plane

William Morris arranges for a Dillon aerial show next Friday by Vico oils advertising group. Pilot Andy Andrews, acrobat Vance Breese, and Mogul Munson will perform over Dillon with stunts and wing walking. Breese will distribute literature from the plane. the event follows earlier stops in Dubois Lima Dell and Armstead.

Legion Carnivals Ready in Dillon This Week

The training school grounds are being converted into a big tented city for Dillon's first annual carnival and Mardi Gras. Six big shows, numerous novelties, a street parade, hourly flour giveaway, radio set prize, and masked ball with Baxter Tonney orchestra promise two lively nights of entertainment.

Local woman called by death in Morton Washington

Mrs. George L. Paris aged 62 died at home in Morton after years of illness. Funeral services were held at the local Methodist church with Rev. T C Cocks officiating. A boy of four sent a wild flower spray, among many tributes from friends. Effie Jane Sadler born 1860 in Bethany Missouri.

Lima resident Ben Proctor files for state legislature

Benjamin Proctor of Lima filed his declaration Monday as a candidate on the democratic ticket for the state legislature. He is the only confirmed Democratic candidate so far. Proctor, a well known railroad man, appeared with C. H. Polk editor of the Lima Ledger to make the filing.

Mrs Stone and daughter visiting James Conger home

Mrs Ray Stone and her small daughter arrived late last week from Great Falls and are visiting at the James Conger home. They will be joined by Miss Opal Stone who has been attending the Normal college locally.

Mrs Stoller Buried Friday In Dillon

Native of Missouri Ann Stoller, longtime Dillon resident, died Wednesday from pernicious anemia. Funeral at the Methodist church Friday with Rev. Edw. Smith officiating. Interment Mountain View cemetery. Born March 28, 1872 in Platte county Missouri she came to Dillon in 1896.
