Williams Takes Stand In Dillon Murder Trial
Williams testified he worked as a sheep herder for fifteen years and had no trouble with Harrison for two weeks before the murder. He said Harrison threatened him and that he fired after Harrison struck him with sticks, claiming self defense. The defense argued insanity, while witnesses described Williams as excitable and often at odds with his flock during range work.
