At a Monday city council meeting bonds worth 100000 dollars for Dillon water works were sold to First National Bank of Butte at five and a half percent for twenty year serial bonds. A. J. Davis bid up the bonus to 1500 dollars amid six competing offers from major firms across the nation. The town, debt free, gains a market boost as several prominent bidders show strong interest.

A Saturday night blaze in Leadore destroyed six buildings on the south Main and Railroad corner, threatening the entire business district.
