County rationing administrator D. A. Galt announced certificates for institutional and industrial sugar users will be issued Aug 15 for the Sept Oct allotment. Certificates must be secured by Sept 5. A 25 percent bonus for institutional users and 10 percent for industrial users will accompany the July August allotment. Institutions include Normal College and county farm. industrial users include restaurants, creameries, bakeries.

A 1942 regulation requires a statement to be filed with the local rationing board by Sept. 10 stating the highest price charged or offered in March 1942. A copy must be kept on business premises and shown on request. Examples include garages filling stations barber shops beauty shops and any service seller.
Two Write-ins Qualify For General Election
County Clerk Albert S. Baker announced that two write ins qualified for the general election as the filing deadline passed Friday at 5:00 PM. The entrants are Jack Porter Dillon for constable in the township on the democratic ticket and Lawrence Peterson for constable in the Lima township as a republican.

Early Dillon Pioneer Lewis A. Tritt Dies at 85
Lewis A. Tritt, a longtime Dillon resident and pioneer freighter, died last Sunday at the county hospital at age 85. Born February 25, 1857 in Kansas, he arrived in Beaverhead County on August 6, 1882, with his brother Tom, helping haul mining machinery and lumber before modern transportation. He is survived by his wife Mabel Tritt, two brothers Tom of Dillon and Rube of Nampa Idaho, and other relatives.

D A R Plans Montana Grand Lodge Session in Helena
The 78th annual communication of the Montana Grand Lodge of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons will gather in Helena August 19 and 20 with about 600 officers delegates and visitors expected. Local lodge No 16 has received official notice and 146 Blue lodges in the state are entitled to three delegates each. Beaverhead chapter D A R held its twenty eighth annual pilgrim age to Bill Fairweather cabin Greenstone Gulch Birch creek followed by a picnic at O A Bergeson lodge.

Mrs. Paul Sacry, 41, prominent Dillon matron, died Monday night at Barrett hospital after an operation and heart attack. Born in Helena August 6 1901 she leaves a husband a son and a daughter plus parents siblings and relatives. Funeral services were held at 2:00 this afternoon.

Lima Matron Anna Geary Dies at 84 in Lima
Mrs. Anna Geary a Beaverhead county resident for six decades died after five months illness aged 84 in Lima. Funeral services were held at Lima Methodist church with Rev W G Lewis of Dillon officiating. Burial followed in Lima cemetery. Survived by daughter Mrs Charles E Calvert five grandsons two great grandchildren and a sister in England.

19 Graduates at MS NC Next Friday
The Montana State Normal College will grant diplomas to seven students and Bachelor of Education degrees to twelve in the summer 1941-42 class. Beaverhead county surpassed its July quota with week totals of 53 650 dollars in war bond sales, well above the 38 700 dollar target. State Administrator W H Bartley commended the county after a vigorous Dillon merchant campaign led by Lambert Eliel as Dillon drive chairman.
