Road Supervisor Vacancies Await June Board Action
County records show eight of twelve appointed road supervisors have qualified seven weeks after the March session. Unqualified are Paddock, Dodgson, Templin, Mast. remaining eight incumbents will hold over. Taxpayers urged to ensure competent replacements by June county commissioners meeting.

City Council Awards Water Works Building Contract
In a special session last Thursday the city council awarded a 1362 dollar contract to Ben Hager for a 10 by 10 foot brick relief valve building for the water works. The site, moved to the corner of Glendale street and Railroad avenue after complaints about the initial location, was finalized.

Lima Dam Site Project Is Postponed
Negotiations for purchasing the Lima dam site and related water rights are temporarily suspended. Beav erhead County Farmers and Stockmen’s association committee met with current owners and believed a price of 10000 dollars had been agreed, but the deal did not finalize.
