Wool Market in Dillon Sees Record High Prices

Nearly every wool clip in the county has been contracted this season with prices from 18 1/2 to 21 1/4 cents a pound. Only four or five small clips totaling about 100 000 pounds remain unsold as buyers J. B. Gowen of Caldwell Idaho and J. E. Hample of Butte, purchasing for Boston based Jeremiah Williams company, bid similar sums. The year marks an unprecedented early contracting pace and strong prices throughout the Dillon market.

Tremendous Treble Clef Concert At Normal Hall Friday

The Treble Clef club presents a major musical event next Friday evening in the Normal assembly hall. Nearly all seats are sold as Prof. and Mrs. Karl Riedelsberger of Montana College Deer Lodge headline a program featuring Sarasate ZarzaychkiHubay and Carmen Fantasie pieces. Local notices praise the artist couple and the recital promises artistic and social success.

Violin Recital by Karl Riedelsberger Opens Club Series

The violinist Karl Riedelsberger opened this year’s Ladies' Musical club patronized recital series with a two-part program. Pretty wedding at Frank Zirtzman home ends in Dillon trip

Evelyn King formerly of this city married George A. Pyle a prosperous young ranchman of Polaris by Rev S D Hooker at the Zirtzman residence. The couple faced a buggy mishap en route and extended their stay at Willis before heading to Polaris to establish a home.

Special Term Convenes for Water Cases and Docket Review

Clifford is on bail and employed by a major Dillon firm. Arthur McCurry faces horse theft charges. he fled the country, whereabouts unknown after a warrant issued. The state vs William J McDonald alleges forgery of a Dillon bank check used for wages at a Jackson store. he was captured in Butte and returned for hearing. Florent T Dean is charged with burglary at Emerson Hill store. he is described as from Butte with prior holdups. Ralph Brothers of Lima faces horse theft charges with two counts. Maguire Stage Triumph In Dillon Benefit
