High School Operetta Promises Weekend Performances

The city council last Thursday approved fencing for the East Side community playgrounds to ready the site for use as a recreation center. The measure was a special order to speed development. Last Saturday county wide school elections were quiet with two trustees in Dillon winning re election. Incumbents A F Waldorf and J C Wedum were named to the board by majority votes. Write ins Mrs C J Horren and Mrs Ernest Nelson received 28 votes each. Election board members were Mrs Lucy Walker Miss Myrtle Erwin and Mrs John T Orr.
