Dike Diamond Jubilee 75th Anniversary Three Day Gala
Dike Iowa marked its Diamond Jubilee with a three day celebration on June 13 14 15. Rain both days did not dampen crowds as a Saturday pageant was moved to Sunday and some events shifted to the school gym. The souvenir book compiles photos by Russell Nielsen commemorating Dike founded 1900 by railway engineer Thomas Chester Dike and the town’s growth to over 800 residents by 1975.
