Faculty Adds Teacher To Match Last Year
The meeting this week decided to increase the faculty one more, and will hire another teacher as soon as possible. This will restore the faculty to the same number as last year. Rains delayed threshing until last Saturday. after a week’s delay threshing resumed. Many farmers stacked grain this year and shock threshing should finish by week’s end if weather stays favorable. A frost last Sunday killed potato vines and possibly damaged late flax, though earlier frosts had not harmed the tender plants. Much plowing is underway, the ground in excellent condition for good work.
