Bold Robber Bold Robber Hold Up at Chicago City Railway Barns
In Chicago on September 1 two men were killed and two others seriously injured during a hold up at the Chicago City Railway barns. Three robbers escaped with about $5,000 from the safe. One victim was the cashier’s clerk and another the receiving jerk. two others were motor men. The barns were deserted except for the dead and wounded at the time, just before banking hours when the cash was fullest.
