The Inter-Ocean launches a county wide voting contest with prizes totaling $2,000. Prizes include a $450 piano for the most popular young lady and various organs maps and wall maps for schools. Consolation prizes and donations to Mercy Hospital and a church are noted.
Each cent paid the Inter Ocean between now and the close of the contest will entitle the customer to one vote for any contestant and one vote for the most popular church. This applies to back subscriptions subscriptions in advance job work advertising or anything the Inter Ocean has to sell. The greatest number of votes will determine the prize recipient.
All contestants must live in Ramsey county but votes may be mailed from anywhere. The contest closes at midnight Saturday December 31 1904 and late votes are invalid. Mail to Contest Editor Devils Lake ND. one vote per person per contestant with an optional vote for the Most Popular Church. Each vote must include the cash amount indicated.
