J. E. Watt and family will leave Sunday for Portland to reside. Watt, an 1881 pioneer from Pennsylvania, built a fortune in North Dakota land and business. He chaired the county GOP committee, directed the North Dakota Chautauqua association, and served as a traveling salesman before moving. His family includes Mrs. Watt and daughter Helen. they are highly regarded in the city and state.
