W C McLarty left for Minneapolis on a business visit. Jake Kollar visited from Devils Lake with a Regál 30 machine. Miss Hileen Roberts visited her uncle Roy Bilis and attended school in Iowa. Mrs A J McLaughlin and daughter and Miss Elizabeth McLaughlin were Devils Lake visitors. A fine girl was born to Mr and Mrs Campbell. Mrs Campbell was formerly Jesse McLarty. Fred Magnus and Will Noyes bought the Minneapolis and Northern elevator and will operate it. Mrs Herman Olson returned from Causia after weeks with relatives. J S Bricketad returned from Canada to establish residence. BE Sprague returned from Montana after weeks with the State bank. Daughter Sunday visited Crary by auto and returned Monday. Wm Riddel returned from Ada Sask where he homesteaded. Chas Askelson bought the Oscar Viger farm and plans to farm there. The showers have benefited crops and grass, and the outlook for a prosperous year is encouraging. The funeral of Bernice Mennes was held at her parents’ home. she died Thursday of measles complications. Burial was in Storlie cemetery.
