King Edward VII Dies at 69 After Nine Years on Throne
Edward VII dies at Buckingham Palace London after a bronchial attack and pneumonia. He reigned nine years succeeding Victoria born November 9 1841 at Buckingham Palace. George V succeeds to the throne as the prince George of Wales is named king. Funeral arrangements set with in state at Westminster Hall then Windsor for interment. Hundreds attend but country grieves as the royal line continues.

Convention Returns From Grand Forks With Plans
Y Bice and Gus Furstenay returned Tuesday night from Grand Forks where Mr Bice attended the state meeting of County Auditors and Mr Furstenay assisted Ray in arranging next year’s Devils Lake meeting. The gathering was largely attended and Devils Lake may host the event in May or June 1921. Several cities are invited to send delegates and many officials highly praised the hosts. Hat fashions and auto bonnets were on display with a discount offer from Sevilla May 18 to 26.
