Leander Case Dis Missed In State v Leander
Judge Butts set aside the information in the case of State v Leander after Sampson renewed his motion claiming the justice failed to inform the defendant of her rights before she waived examination. Testimony showed conflicting statements about waiver and the judge noted the record was weak on full knowledge of waiver effects.
