Great Northern depot fire nearly destroys city building
The Great Northern passenger depot suffered heavy fire damage last Saturday after 5 30 pm due to a spark from a passing locomotive. The roof burned away but walls and interiors were saved. loss estimated around 300 dollars. Depot to be repaired temporarily then possibly rebuilt as city plans for a new depot and expanded business district proceed.
