Me W Burtseh died this morning at the farm of H M Creel in Guintie township from tuberculosis. Mrs Burtseh had long suffered from the disease and had been confined to the hospital at times. Edward Anderson a brakeman sustained a severe thumb injury in the railroad yards while chasing a runaway hat. He slipped from the engine steps and caught his thumb on a mounting rod causing heavy distress. Hospital treatment by Dr. Sihler and stimulants aided him. he is expected to be about in a few days.
