The Republican county convention for Ramee County met in Dennard North Dakows on August 13 1901 at 1 o clock p m to nominate county officers including auditor clerk of court state attorney superintendent of schools treasurer public administrator four justices of the peace four constables and assessors for two districts. Delegates were allotted by precinct and additional delegates from Ed ware Starkweather Crary with caucuses scheduled August 10 and credentials to be filed by August 13. The county central committee met to certify eligibility and will hear contested credentials by 10 o clock a m Saturday.
