A Good Time To Sell This Fall

Land Commissioner Luxdal said the plan is to place school lands in Ramsey and Cavalier counties on the market this fall. President Kelly of Farmers Railroad expects the line to Cavalier county next year, with over 200000 acres of school land tributary to the railroad. If a farmer settles each quarter section, Devils Lake gains as the railroad extends, boosting the new territory. Selling the school land could start quickly this fall at good prices due to its excellent farming potential.
