Mrs Lydia Fisher mother of C M Fisher died at her home in St Paul on July 6 at age 77. She was born June 12 1828 in Littleton Massachusetts and married Louis B Fisher in 1847. The Pioneer Press noted her life of kindness and mercy and that she spent most of her life in St Paul.
The Great Northern Railway advances several northward lines into rich farming regions of North Dakota. Extensions include Sarles from Edmore, Thorne from York, Maxbass from Towne, and Westhope to Antler, creating new towns.
