Austin Leavitte of Devils Lake visited friends. Agent Johnson went to Devils Lake. Willard Crilly visits relatives in Litchfield Minnesota. About twenty Indians left by dinkey for Rolla to celebrate New Year with 800 pounds beef taken along. Mr and Mrs James Lynn went to the reservation for Christmas. Mrs Lynn stayed to visit. Geo McDevitt Jr Carl Halverson Adolph and Eugene Belcourt enjoyed the outing.

Edmore Social Notes Highlight Local Visits and Birth

Albert Thompson returned Saturday from Grafton after visiting relatives and friends. Andrew Swanston and John Wisher, Lawton farmers, were in Edmore on Monday for business. Thomas P. Thompson heads to Lanesboro Minnesota for about three months with relatives. Sophia Severson departs for Crookston Minnesota for holiday visits with her parents. G B Williams formerly a merchant now in Adams greeted Edmore friends Friday and Saturday. Mrs C B Ellnson of Grafton spent several days visiting. Mrs Benin has many friends in town. Mr and Mrs A J Donahue of Overland township welcomed a son born last week.

Miss Ruth King arrived from Mayville for Norman school and will return after Christmas vacation. J Q Adama came from Devils Lake to visit T E Morgan and to handle business. Bob Wallace hosted an oyster supper at his southeast farm last Friday. Miss Tillie Hamstead and Miss Tina McLarty returned from Grand Forks after Aaker's Business College and plan a two week vacation. Chas Boyd visited to tend business in Judith Basin Montana, but he still owns a farm near Newville and will keep it.
