A fire at Grand Harbor North Dakota destroyed the Strand General Merchandise store and damaged adjacent buildings. Loss estimated at seven thousand dollars with insurance covering stock and building. Not Badly Shaken Up At New York Pintsch Gas Blast

Henry Bread and wife and their infant Irving escaped unharmed but badly shaken after a Pintsch gas explosion in the New York Central Exchange Street station train yard. A rear coach crowd of 50 passengers stood within 59 feet when flame shot 40 feet high, shattering windows and sending passengers fleeing. Bread family, en route from Minnewaukan to New York, steadied by clinging to each other in the cold shed as authorities responded. Charles Garske of Garske visited the city Thursday.

Grand Forks Man Falls From Bridge At The Forks

Fred Moliraith of Grand Forks fell thirty five feet from the Great Northern bridge at the Forks on Thursday morning. He sustained multiple broken bones and serious injuries that may prove fatal. James G. Remfrey announces engagement as a band instructor for nearby towns and Devils Lake. Remfrey, with vast experience leading bands in Hast Grand Forks and Grand Forks, N. D., now resides in Devils Lake and offers piano tuning services as well.
