The report from Edwards, Wood & Co. notes Minneapolis wheat gained 13.4 cents last week amid steady home and foreign demand. Exports reached 2,761,000 bushels, with strong foreign demand as Danube ports close and South Africa flour shipments rise. Domestic visible supply is down 11,000,000 bushels vs last year, receipts at primary points fell 14 percent, and world shipments declined to six and a half million. Liverpool firm on small receipts, May wheat expected higher, favoring buyers.
