Pelican Point Bridge Will Likely Cost Repair
Engineer Holman of the Great Northern railway examined the Pelican Point bridge this week to estimate repair costs and assess permanent grade. He found water depth five feet total. much of the grade lies underwater. He estimates 2500 to 3000 dollars needed to restore first class, permanent condition. Local business leaders have supported the project and plan to raise lands as part of a financing plan.
