Armory Project to Be Ready by June 30
Capt Lonnevik and S J Small led a business men’s canvass early in the week, securing funds to finish Co D’s armory. The 50 by 140 foot one story frame building on Kelley avenue and 7th street will cost about 6000, include a 25 by 50 stage, 26 foot ceiling, basement for heating, shooting gallery and gym, with 1500 seating, to be ready by June 30 for the July militia encampment at Chautauqua.
