From the Cunrier, Born to Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Jorof, March Ster, 113, a girl. George W. Fifer, one of the best farmers of the county, was at Devils Lake Wednesday on business. Henry Viste, the genial book keeper in the Farmers bank, left Wednesday and will spend time on his claim near Claresholm before returning. F. G. Orchard came down from Edmore Monday and went to Knox later, where he takes charge of an elevator. W. R. Whitcomb, a prosperous farmer, has served as juryman in the district court for four weeks. Pretty good service to the country. Miss Maggie Sparks, recovered from measles at Devils Lake, was taken home to Fox Lake Tuesday. The home of Ole Nesseth near town hosted a surprise dance Friday night with an elegant supper.
