Movers and Shakers review ailing film craft and empty drama
The Pittsburgh Press notes Mov ers and Shakers stars Charles Grodin and Walter Matthau in a film about film makers. The piece suggests Grodin's script lacks focus and character depth while Steve Martin and Penny Marshall appear in out of place comic scenes. Overall verdict: never bad, never very good.

Fragmented crossword row hints a mosaic of terms and clues
A scrambled puzzle page lists numbers and partial words such as VIGOR ARABIA NIGHT BEFORE NO SCOT MARTINIQUE VOLCANO and various unrelated terms like HONEY FREEZE ARREST DAB. The mixed entries resemble a cryptic grid with scattered references to languages, places, foods, weather and actions, suggesting a puzzle page rather than cohesive article.
