Project manager Doug Parker says a reconnaissance study urges further analysis, including the Destin Water Users pipeline impact and potential turning basin at the harbor east end. Deepening could reach eight feet with 7 to 9 foot lagoon depth targets, while regulatory reviews and agency coordination precede any dredging two years out.
