Raider reported a possible heart incident that proved a head injury, patient Obie Inman later left the station. a 14-foot craft near Joe's Bayou towed by 41-footer. Delorun K disabled near Light 13 in Shoctawhatchee Bay but turned over to a salvage company.

Okaloosa deputies reported burglaries at Big Sam's Fried Chicken and Playtime Pizza in Destin during the night of October 4 into October 5. About 900 dollars in cash was stolen, with 500 from Big Sam's and 300 to 400 from Playtime Pizza. Entry may have been via rear doors at Shores Shopping Center. no leads. A red Ross 10-speed bike valued at 150 dollars was taken from Gulf Shore Drive between 10 a.m. October 7 and midnight.
