Inventor from Destin earns patent for Econose truck device
Destin resident David R. Williams receives a patent for Econose, a wind deflector device claimed to boost semi-trailer fuel efficiency. Tested on a bread truck, the bulbous front-mount design reportedly saves five gallons per 100 gallons. Williams, a former Auburn student and pole frame house innovator, plans to expand testing in Texas.
