Coast Guard report of multiple vessel assists near East Pass
A Pensacola station log records several aid events from morning to evening. Shalako, a 15 foot vessel near Santa Rosa Sound, towed to Hurlburt Field. Lady Ann, a 22 foot craft near East Pass, towed to East Pass Marina. The Promise, a 37 foot sailboat, reported dragging anchor near Joe's Bayou and towed to deeper water. Sunshine, a 32 foot sailboat taking on water near 331 bridge, plus a motor vehicle pump used but boat left in position overnight. Residents Kenneth Grandy and George Buchana delegate ownership. Marcus Grandy, Harry L Winburn, Jim Smith manage respective vessels.
