Disabled Vet Wins Fire Fee Exemption in South Walton

David Reichelt, a totally disabled Air Force veteran, wins exemption from the South Walton Fire District annual fire protection assessment after a two year battle. The five district commissioners unanimously agree the district is a special taxing district and will remove his name from the tax rolls and cover about $100 in tax certificates.
