Development plan clash ends in split vote at county board
The county board voted 5-1 to disapprove a development proposed by Richardson after a back‑and‑forth with Bannerman about road contour changes and subdivision rules. Approved were Sally Gunn’s Grayton Trail Cottages with 1,200 square feet rental space and several mixed‑use buildings, Tradewinds on Highway 98 with Phase I 33 units and Phase II 35 units, and Larry Hicks Phase I trailer park with 10 units on a 10‑acre tract, with future board sign‑offs required for more than 10 units.
