Tagged and released after a two hour fight, the fish was caught east of Elbow hillfish grounds, along with Dolphin and Wahoo. Dock activity slows ahead of the Destin weekend as Gulf tides shift, then improve. The Marine Fisheries Commission will hold a final public hearing in Miami on Snook rules and discuss Red fish Sea Trout and other measures.
