Henderson Beach plans to show state park concept in Destin
Destin residents will see the Henderson Beach State Recreation Area development plan within weeks. The plan calls for picnic facilities bathhouses park ranger facilities and natural areas with a single access off Highway 98 a perimeter fence and a 50 cent user fee. Public meeting will precede any construction and plans emphasize dune restoration and reuse of disturb ed land while maintaining beach sand trees and water as the park.
