Gas Price Drop Expected For Okaloosa Residents
Okaloosa Gas District expects a price cut for new and existing customers as natural gas deregulation under the 1978 act takes effect January 1 1985. General manager Earl Talbot says supplier United Gas Pipe Line will cut the average price by about 5 percent, passing savings to customers. An American Gas Association study cites only a 1.1 percent residential rise this year, well below inflation.
