Florida's trade set for a record year say officials
Lt. Gov. Wayne Mixson announced Florida's import-export total for January through October 1984 reached about 16.9 billion dollars, up 27 percent from 1983. October alone was 1.7 billion, 22 percent higher. If November and December hold, the state may top the 18.6 billion dollar record set in 1981.
