Walton County Airport Panel Votes for Feasibility Studies
Walton County Airport Authority on Tuesday unanimously required land sale or donation proposers to submit environmental, engineering, facilities, infrastructure, and ridership studies at the owner's expense before airport location consideration. The move follows a Generalized offer for a 3.5 square mile tract on First American Farms and a potential Donated land offer from Development Group Inc. for a regional airport north of Seagrove Beach. The authority will review proposals only after the mandated studies are provided.
