The Bibletones Quartet performs February 26 at 10 45 a m at Bible Independent Baptist Church with free admission and nursery. Based in Gulfport MS the group has 16 albums and travels nationwide to churches auditoriums fairs and homecomings. The annual Lumberton MS homecoming sing draws 4 000 to 5 000 fans outdoors. Members include Tim Frith Howard Rutland Paul Vinson Tommy Randall Vaughn Thacker and Curtis Anderson.
Edith Marie Beaird of Brazoria Texas died February 21 at age 68. She is survived by her husband Robert and two sons Ken Beaird of Destin and Norris Beaird of Brazoria, plus granddaughters Kathy Beaird Spera and Alicia Beaird of Destin. Funeral and burial were held in Brazoria. Donations to the American Cancer Society are requested in lieu of flowers.
The Destin Women’s Christian Fellowship will hold its monthly meeting at 11 30 a m Thursday March 8 at First Presbyterian Church. It will be a covered dish luncheon. For more information call Anita Rhoads at 837 3648.
