Collier Named Escambia Circuit Court Judge
Lacey Collier 48, longtime state attorney aide and grand jury adviser in Walton and Okaloosa counties, is appointed by Gov. Graham to Escambia County's circuit court. Okaloosa County records show Destin began 1984 with 1.1 million dollars in commercial and residential starts, down from the prior December. The month’s largest project is a 144000 dollar Firestone- Flint Inc townhouse for The Brent Corp, west of Capri on Gulf, south of Highway 98. Also listed are a 125000 four unit townhouse for Ro-Shell Corp on Legion Drive, an 80000 thousand square foot mini warehouse on Main Street, and a 77000 three unit townhouse on Gulf Breeze Court. Thirteen new homes total 516664 dollars, with an average cost per home about 39700. Overall, south Okaloosa County begins January 1984 with 7.9 million in total planning, including Destin’s 1.1 million share within 7.6 million for the area.
