Donut Hole Expansion Panel Approves Variance
Ingrid Kreis reports the Okaloosa County Board of Adjustment approved Moore's variance from 10 feet to three feet on the west side of her Donut Hole site along Highway 98 despite adjacent owner John Duggan's objection citing health drainage and fire concerns. Moore clarified the plan adds 26 feet outward for storage and work area, not seating. The board also granted a 10 to two foot variance for Frank Lemak's Barefoot By The Sea art gallery to build a 20 by 60 foot structure with no objections.
