Destin Rotary to Give Away Free Trees at Post Office
The Destin Rotary Club will hold its annual tree giveaway at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Destin Post Office on Main Street. It has purchased 1,000 red cedar and 1,000 dogwood seedlings from the Florida Forestry Service. Two of each type will be given to anyone who wants to plant them. Seedlings require a well prepared planting hole with moss and compost and regular watering.
