ABWA Christmas Festival Nets $400 Scholarship Fund
About 100 guests attended the Destin Chapter ABWA first Christmas Festival at Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club, featuring Wayne "Po Boy" Cobb and The Circle C Cowboys. Proceeds from tickets and a cash bar exceed $400 for a local scholarship, with door prizes and a raffle including Po Boy's cowboy hat, purchased for $10 by Edna Smith of WMMK. Local merchants donated prizes, and the event aimed to fund educational advancement for a young woman entering college.
