Destin captains launch Coast Guard tow firm to boost local work
Destin Marine Towing and Salvage, formed by Captains George Eller and Russ Reynolds, is the area’s first Coast Guard recognized non emergency towing firm. They plan 20 minute response with the Bengal ship and aim to keep Destin crews employed, promising local payrolls and dock building work while expanding inland barge towing and waterfront construction opportunities.
