Grace Bullard Bannerman 69 of Santa Rosa Beach died Wednesday December 5 in Fort Walton Beach after an extended illness. Born in Caryville Florida she married Robert L. Bannerman in Andalusia Alabama December 22 1936. She taught in Fairfax County Virginia schools worked as a real estate agent in McLean Virginia and belonged to several clubs in Virginia and Santa Rosa Beach. Survived by husband Robert L. Bannerman son Robert B. Bannerman of Great Falls Virginia daughter C Elaine Bannerman of Ottawa Canada and two grandchildren Robert C. Bannerman and Anne Bannerman. Funeral 3 p.m. Saturday December 8 at McLaughlin Mortuary Chapel Fort Walton Beach with Dr Robert Edgar officiating.
Karen Marjorie Shura 41 of Destin died at her home Monday December 3 1984. Native of New York she moved to the area in 1977. Survivors include husband Robert W. Shura Destin son Joseph Moher daughter Margaret Fenster Navarre step daughter Carol Grimsley Fort Walton Beach sister Claudia Bernini Port St Lucie and two grandchildren plus two step grandchildren. Funeral services were held 4 p.m. Wednesday at McLaughlin Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Lamar Brown officiating. McLaughlin Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
