Congress clears height limit raise for Holiday Isle project
After 26 months and a signed act, the Wengroup Corp wins approval to build up to 200 foot structures on Holiday Isle, lifting the prior 75 foot cap imposed for aviation. Destin Pointe Resort will include 798 units across two 18 story, two 12 story, and an 8 story building, with approvals still required from the Holiday Isle Improvement Association.
