Tourism Council Sets $300000 Ad Budget by Karen MacGrogan
The Cooperative Tourism Development Council approved a five hundred thousand dollar advertising plan to promote Destin South Walton and Fort Walton Beach. Half the funds target national magazines with regional and local media support plus airport bulletin boards and TV spots. The budget, drafted by Destin Advertising and Graphics and Murphy and Associates, is a guideline, with chair Gary Alden leading, and a next meeting set for December 13.
