The Defense Property Disposal Office will hold a local spot bid sale at 8 a.m. on April 28 in building 525. Registration starts at 7 a.m. and the public may attend. Engelbert Humperdinck will perform May 1 at the Saenger Theatre in Pensacola with shows at 6 and 9 p.m. Tickets range 25 to 12 dollars, available at the Saenger box office and local Sun Banks branches. A three hour college credit course War and Civilization will be taught at Eglin AFB by Dr. Joe Matthews. It meets Thursdays 6 to 9 30 p m in Building 251 from May 12, following Project Warrior program aims. Registration details are provided by OWJC offices.
A bridge luncheon to benefit Okaloosa County residents will be held April 27 at Brooks Beat Center in Fort Walton Beach. A five dollar donation grants entry for prize chances. attendees may play with a partner or in a group. Tickets remain at Book Nook in Destin and Fort Walton Beach and Book Harbour in Parkway Plaza.
