South Walton Lions Host Opus 1 Chorus Evening
Lions and guests enjoyed a past moment with Niceville High School Chorus Opus 1 performing selections from pop to religious. The group, 16 members led by Phyllis Merritt, impressed with “String of Pearls” and “Tenderly.” Next month’s speaker is Catherine King, Walton County Library Board president. Bake sales were noted at St Rita and Resurrection churches after Easter masses. Green Thumb Garden Club toured Richard Eyestone’s rose garden and elected May officers. Seagrove Beach Garden Club discussed health services and growth concerns, offering clinical setups countywide. South Walton Emergency Services was approved to receive $30.
