Police Academy II review keeps a low brow punchline
Ed Blank’s cinema critique praises Police Academy II Their First Assignment for likable characters and modest aims. The Pittsburgh Press critic notes director Jerry Paris adds 60s flavor to 80s pacing while a dozen semi principal players deliver amusing moments. The film rated PG 13 for brief nudity obscenity and implied vulgarity screens at Cinco Cinema.
